This is a biography of Jimi Hendrix, the world famous guitarist who died in 1970 aged 27. Friends and prominent musicians Pete Townshend, Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton and Buddy Miles comment on Jimi's life and his influence on the rock music. Features recordings from concerts appearances, including "Hey Joe", "Rock Me, Baby" and "Like a Rolling Stone" from the Monterey Pop Festival, and "The Star Spangled Banner" from Woodstock.
